We now offer FedEx Signature Options at checkout.
FedEx usually delivers packages without requiring a signature. In most cases, packages are left at the recipient’s door, but depending on the building type or delivery address, they may be placed in another nearby location.
We introduced this service to give customers the flexibility to choose how they would like their package delivered — either securely with a required signature for added peace of mind, or without a signature so it can be delivered even if they are not home.

How Each Option Works
Signature Required (¥440)
- Obtaining signature from someone at the delivery address
- Obtaining signature from a neighbor, building manager, or other person at a neighboring address
- If allowed by recipient, leave the package with recipient’s authorization and a photo of the delivery
No Signature Required
- In most cases, packages are left at the recipient’s door, but depending on the building type or delivery address, they may be placed in another nearby location.
