As you can see, each page is divided into four sections. 1) Top Future Releases, 2) Recently Added, 3) Top Selling New Releases, and 4) Current Top Sellers.
I'll explain them slightly out of order . . .
2) Recently Added
Unranked new additions to our site. All newly announced releases start their journey here the day they are announced, so this is the part of the page most likely to change day to day. On pages for genres we edit by hand, products are added in the order we receive them, while automatically updated pages (film subgenres, music DVDs, and the less-popular music categories) will be ordered by retail date.
1) Top Future Releases
Future release ranked by sales. Items in this section are removed from the "Recently Added" section on completely automated pages (sometimes the complete "Recently Added" section will end up here as well).
3) Top Selling New Releases
The best-selling items to be released in the last couple of weeks. Sales data is polled every day.
4) Current Top Sellers
The top selling albums of the last few days, regardless of original retail date.
Some pages may not have one or more of these sections due to a lack of new/upcoming releases.
You may also have noticed a "Special Pick Up" section at the top of some of our pages. This is where the CDJapan staff will add items we personally think you would enjoy!
