X Japan has just confirmed that their first new single since 1997 will be the song "I.V.," the ending theme for horror film "Saw IV." While CDJapan has received no information regarding the single or its release, website jrockrevolution is running a huge special on the single as well as hosting a 30-second-or-so clip of the song. Of course, if you want hear the single, you can also go see "Saw IV" which comes out this weekend.
"I.V." features all four remaining members of the original band and is said to feature unreleased guitar recordings from hide. In addition, the band has just wrapped up work on a music video and is said to be considering concerts in the future.
Again, CDJapan does not yet have ANY information on the official product release of this single and thus the single is unavailable for purchase at this time. However, please check out jrockrevolution for a ton more information!

Hmm, you know, I hadn't really thought about whether I'd go to the concert or not but this might be a once in a lifetime chance.
Good luck to you and make sure to get your tickets as soon as possible because those tickets are going to sell out super quick (I don't think they've been announced yet, but once they do)

dinosaur> No word yet on the single, but I imagine it'll probably have either a new/unreleased B-side or at least a rearranged version of a classic X track.
l u c y> I know! Well, keep your fingers crossed. I think I read that they plan on performing in at least America, and I imagine that if they do they'll also release a tour DVD. It's not quite a concert ticket but should still be awe-inspiring.
