Alice's adventures in wonderland (Kadokawa Tsubasa Bunko)Lewis Carroll, Shoichiro Kawai, okamaGreat edition for those learningEN: Tsubasa Bunko editions are for elementary scholl students, these contain simple texts, with full furigana cover for all kanjis, as beautifull illustrations by Japanese manga artists. As someone who is learning the language this kind of edition is a way to go for more complex reading. As a curiosity note, despite being called Bunko, they have the size of a Tanko manga.

NO.6 beyond (Kodansha Bunko) [Light Novel]Asano AtsukoMy reviewA really good read if you're a fan of the story, looking for answers. There's 4 chapters: "The days of Inukashi," "A song from the past," "The days of Shion" and finally "The days of Nezumi".

Senko Scramble (Kadokawa Bunko)Shigeaki KatoGREAT BOOK SENSEIJust like Japanese novels in general,t he book size exactly best size if I want to bring and read it outside! The font too exactly didn't make me boring. I think I could read it many times. But if you didn't used to reading a Japanese novels, the additional cover might be annoying but you could take it off. The content of the novel because the genre a little bit serious themed, the kanji might be hard for beginner Japanese leaner to reading this novel.

Kasa wo Motanai Aritachi wa (Kadokawa Bunko)Shigeaki KatoGREAT BOOK SENSEIJust like Japanese novels in general, the book size exactly best size if I want to bring and read it outside! The font too exactly didn't make me boring. I think I could read it many times. But if you didn't used to reading a Japanese novels, the additional cover might be annoying but you could take it off. Actually this book didn't same as the other novels, because its content was just like short story collection. But after all the story was great thing to read!

Sento Bishojo No Seishin Bunseki (Chikuma Bunko)Saito TamakiLacanian Psychology in Otaku SubcultureThis book takes a Lacanian psychoanalytical approach to otaku subculture with a special focus on the phenomenon of the fighting bishoujo. The analysis is pretty indepth, and though they are explained in the book you might want to consult some secondary sources for the Lacanian terminology, such as the Big Other. Still, the analysis itself is trenchant and thought-provoking; it might be familiar to someone who has read Zizek, another Lacanian. However, a lot of the book is taken up by a genealogy of the fighting bishoujo, which is divided up into several subgenres. It's interesting in itself as far as it goes, but might be too simplified. The sections on Henry Darger are also fairly interesting as a case study and example of how Japanese media tropes present as radical 'outsider' art in the west. If you want a more nuanced view of Otaku, that starts from the premise that it's hardly easy, and in fact counterproductive and delusional in itself, to idly suggest that otaku are just 'seperated from reality', you will find some interesting ideas here. "Otaku know reality the best of anyone" is a controversial theory perhaps, but Saitto makes a good case for it.

Kimi no Suizo wo Tabetai (Futaba Bunko)Sumino YoruThis book really attracted my atentionThe moment I did read that title I thought it would be a very fantastic history. I really suggest this book for all the people who like a casual history with a lot of feelings.

Kimi no Suizo wo Tabetai (Futaba Bunko)Sumino YoruGlad I choose to read this novel.I don’t usually read romance/slice of life novels very often. Rather I rarely do. Though, this time, I broke this habit of mine by buying this book, ‘I want to eat your pancreas”, by sheer curiosity, wondering about the reason behind it being one of the best sellers of its year. The result? I understood that reason very well to the point of shedding a few tears. This novel was absolutely magnificent. Besides its easy-pacing that suited my preference, I think the most important element that made it outstanding was the writing. Like the way the protagonist is called by his surroundings implying their impressions and feelings towards him, and how it was used to describe the change of these feelings throughout time or the wonderful idiomatic title-drop used at the very end of the story. Long story short, I felt quite satisfied after finishing this book, and I’m glad I choose to read it.

Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo / Japanese that the Japanese don't know vol. 1 (MF comic essay)Hebizo, Nagiko UminoFun & Educational!Very funny and educational! I think it is a suitable read for intermediate learners. The language is clean and simple, and the drawings help understand new words (when they aren't explained in-text!). It also provides a very good insight into the teachers' ordeals when teaching their language to serious yet eccentric students! Since it is split into many small stories generally grouped under a theme, it can be read on the go, without too much regard for continuity, but it is also short enough to be read in one sitting. It is definitely a book I would recommend!
