This entire series is great for self study as it has exercises from basics to exam examples. The book itself gives you advices and a clear way of advance. I recommend it as I also was able to approve N3 this year.

This one is the holy grail for anyone who want to study japanese grammer in very depth because this book contains every grammer points that any need in level N5 and N4 JLPT and the explanation and examples are also very helpful.

An absolutely amazing book for learners of Japanese. Not only does it contain all the main kanjis and their readings, but each kanji has quite a lot of words associated with it, so you also learn a ton of new words. The book is thick and packed with info regarding the specific character. It also has an introduction to the language so you can learn basic things like how to count different items/animals, how to spell days of the weeks, months, and much more. I was looking for a book to read something easy in japanese and it delivers. And being a Vivi book makes it even better!

Good textbook with a lots of content to improve your speaking and listening skills. Also, in this book you'll encounter a lot of conversational phrases, which are convenient among japanese people nowadays. I think it'll work well for learners, who have finished N5 already and just started N4. Quality of book and audio materials is also very good.

Magazine is very thin but I think is worth buying for the bonus. Scrunchie needs washing before use due to the chemical smell, which is ok, it’s cute and can be worn two ways. The plastic key rings were really smelly, so I did not keep them - but other than that the child in me was really happy.

This is a very cute book about these strange beetles, describing their life-cycle. It is exquisitely illustrated: I’m very pleased I bought it. Congratulations to the author.

This Kanji dictionary is aimed at Japanese school kids from grades 1 to 6. Therefore the chapters contain Kanji from one school year each. There is two index to look up Kanji either by pronounciation or stroke number which is easy to use. In chapter one each page includes the Kanji, stroke order and number, On- and Kun-Yomi as well as an explanation of the origin of the Kanji shown as well as example sentences. From chapter two on there's three Kanji on each page. This dictionary is easy to use and follow even for people who are only just starting to learn Kanji. The size is also handy. I love using this book and being able to find what I'm looking for in a fast and easy way.

This is a good book. It helped me train my reading skills in Nihonggo and not only that, the contents are great.

I learned Japanese at the university with this textbook and it is by far the best one I've ever seen! There are so many different exercises and so comprehensive explanations and examples that it's kind of so easy that even people who don't have normally good language skills can reach a high level of Japanese. I enjoyed the stories and the audio skits. The selection of kanji to write seems a little bit random at times, but that's not a big deal. I can just recommend everyone who has ambitions to use this text book instead of the other mainstream text books which are used in different universities. They're not as structured and haven't got a logic progression like Genki provides.

As I also commented on Genki I, this Genki II workbook is just as good and will teach you all the upper elementary grammar points of Japanese. It's still so much fun and as soon you come closer to the end of the book, you'll also starting to miss the characters like Mary-san and Takeshi-kun. But in this upper elementary workbook, you'll learn how to use basic Japanese in an easy way and when I started using this I nerded a lot about all the different grammar points like the different levels of Keigo and not to mention the causative clauses and the passive-causative clauses which are so cool characteristics of Japanese. I mean in my class everyone looked at me weirdly because I was sooo happy to finally learn these sentence structures! Absolutely recommended to use these workbooks as soon as you want to learn Japanese!

A very cute book with some interesting cat facts, it's useful for practicing writing kanji from memory

A gorgeous hardcover Precure picture book intended for younger readers - text is in hiragana only. None of the images are unique to this book, but it's still a lovely item. An automatic purchase for die-hard Precure collectors, but also recommended for children who may not know about the show, but who could be intrigued by the glittery cuteness shining out from every page.

I’m a big amuro fan so of course I had to get this book! It was surprising that it was actually a novel instead of a manga, considering how it wasn’t clearly stated in the description, but nevertheless I still enjoyed the read. If you’re a DC and amuro fan with decent japanese knowledge then I recommend grabbing it to practice reading jp more fluently. Oh yea there’s also furigana and it helps out a ton.

Amazing high quality book with all the Precure characters from the last 20 years. Recommended to everyone that loves this franchise, to feel nostalgic while looking at the pages.
