I love Yukichi's cooking! This book is a must have if you've enjoyed the anime. I've already used some of the recipes that Yukichi prepared on the show. It's very simple directions, tells measure of ingredients. The only thing I'm missing is the cat paw iron. I'll have to find one later. There are other recipes that I'm learning from this book.

Wish the set could have shared the exact details for what refills this pen takes. They give you 2 to start with, but either you need to take a risk to buy ones and hope they fit or refill manually with ink and an ink needle. Pen is minimalist and writes well.

I love all of these patterns, and the instructions are wonderful! There's a good availability of sizes, too. I appreciate that even the 29cm patterns, which are ostensibly designed for the Men's Picture Book boys from Petworks, still includes the skirt. Also the example/inspiration photos are so helpful and great. It even lists which ones are used--although I did note that one of the examples was using a pattern for Doll Coordinate Recipe 13 (also buy Junko Uchiyama/Allnurds). My only complaint is that the patterns themselves are printed on the pages of the book instead of on a pull/tear-out. I like to scan my patterns in so I can print them off for convenience, but I can't do that without just taking the whole book apart. Not a big deal, but slightly inconvenient.

Arrived on perfect time (I Mean the date stimation was exact), quality is gorgeous and all the photographs are sooo amazing! Love it!!!

About the books and tote bag: Everything arrived safe and well packed, the tote bag looks so cute and the books...I cannot find enough words to describe how amazing they are. I ordered not expecting any English inside the book and I was so thrilled to find out that there is English translation side by side with Japanese description *tears of joy*. All in all the quality of everything in this set is top notch. I will hug them to sleep at night. About the service: I have ordered books via cdjapan before and the service never fail to satisfied me. The order arrived super fast (from Japan to Germany), packaging is simple yet super efficient and very carefully packed. Also for a non Japanese speaker is this book very usefull to refine your temari skills. I used google translator with the camera to translate from Japanese. A lot of clear drawings and pictures help to realize more advanced patterns. Not really for beginners.
