RSS, Now For Artists!
Aug 04,2006
We've expanded our RSS system to include artists! Now you can subscribe to an artist's RSS feed to find out the latest release from your favorite musicians, actors, or directors. Due to the amount of artists in our system, it's impossible for us to register each one with Feedburner (so you'll just see xml when if you click on the RSS button), but you are more than welcome to register feeds with feedburner yourself.

You can register for an artist's RSS feed by visiting their complete listings page. For easy access try the "People" option with our search engine (sorry, no anime at this time).

For example: registering Kumi Koda in your RSS reader, the easy way.

  1. People search "Kumi Koda" and click the correct name to go to the artists' complete listings page.

  2. Click on the orange RSS button and register it with your feed reader.

You may also be able to auto-detect the feed if you've set your browser or feed reader to auto-detect.

As one of our avid readers have pointed out, we've also slightly updated our search function to make it easier to organize search results. If you have trouble with the artist search, try searching for an album name under the "Album/Movie Titles" search option.

"Just Can't Help It." DVD Cover
You should probably post the image to Tokyo Jihen's new DVD "Just Can't Help It." on the CDJapan website. The cover image has been released, and posting it would probably help generate more sales, as buyers can see what they are buying.

Thanks Ringo,

I'll make sure to do that as soon as I get back in to work on Monday. We hadn't received anything from Toshiba at the time we wrote the article, so we assumed there wasn't an official design yet.

But, boy is there ever :)

Gomen Nasai m(-v-)m
Quick update, I just got vetoed by management for the top page (which makes sense since it would be the first thing people would see when they come to our site). I have uploaded the photo to our system, however, so it should show up on our product information page for "Just can't help it" soon.
