Do you like Puffy, Judy and Mary, or Mummy the Peepshow? Have you heard of Mystic?
Oh me, oh my, scrolling through the indie music releases again when I discovered Okinawan band Mystic. I think I'm in love. Produced by former Judy and Mary bassist Yoshihito Onda, Mystic's second album "Heart Work" is due out September 6, 2006.
Think ska base, think Puffy-style dual-female harmonies, think sort of "Orange Sunshine"-era Judy and Mary with a little bit of Ketchup Mania thrown in.
