This week, Microsoft launched it's new operating system "Windows 7" in Japan. As a promotional move, Microsoft joined with Burger King and created "Windows 7 WHOPPER"

"Windows 7 WHOPPER" is 12cm high, and weighs 950g.
As you can see from the picture it has 7 patties in between!

This special Whopper is available for only 7 days for 1450yen. But the first 30 customers of the day can purchase it for 777yen.

Two of my co-workers tried these out. One gave up on his second patty but the other one finished it. Though he admits that his stomach was close to exploding and was about to throw up several times during his challenge.

He said he felt very satisfied afterwards but does not want to go anywhere near a hamburger nor even see anyone eating a hamburger for awhile.

The sad thing is, he found out later that day that the campaign which was planned to end in 7 days was going to be extended because of the good sales. There was no need for him to rush and challenge himself.

Oh well...
