Hina Aoyama is Japanese artist living in France. She is famous for her paper-cutting artwork.
In 2000, she took a trip to France where she met her now husband.
There, she meets traditional paper cutting artwork from Switzerland and starts cutting papers as a hobby.
In 2008 she exhibits her artwork at the 6th Paper Art Triennale International held at Charmey Museum in Switzerland and became the first Asian to win first prize.
2 of her artworks will be displayed at Bellerive Museum in Zurich until April 4th, 2010.
She was also chosen as one of the 100 Most Respected Japanese People in the World on Newsweek magazine last year.
Believe it or not, she cut all these out from paper with a pair of scissors.

Wow that's so pretty!!! So creative!! I wish I could do that.
By the way, Mana, have you received any packages that's returned to CDjapan lately? If so, I think it's one of my packages. I wrote the wrong zip code, and my friend should receive the gift already. I hope it's back in Japan so it can be resent :(

Thanks for you help, Mana!! I already emailed you guys about my situation. My order number is 10103095360. I hope it's back in Japan now so I can give you an alternate address. Since my shipping is airmail, how long does it take to be shipped back to Japan?

So far we haven't received it back yet...
Even if the zip code does not match the
address, most packages should be sent according to the city and street address... I hope it arrives soon...

I wish it were the case, Mana. Sometimes it happens. Unfortunately the U.S. postal service always go by zip code, and if it doesn't match, I heard most of the time they just ship it back, unless there's a really nice mailman who would correct it. It would get delayed for a bit, but not this long.
