Fun in the Tub
Nov 13,2009
As you may already know, Japan is a country of long baths.
It is normal for girls to take a long baths just staying
in the tub for hours.

Unlike other girls, I can not stay in the tub any longer
than 15 minutes because for one reason, it's too boring.
There is nothing to do after I finish texting my friends
which only last for 5 minutes and secondly I get dizzy after 10 minutes.

But still there are many fun bath goods to make your bath time
quite fun in Japan. Let me show you some new items I've found.

I hope everyone is familiar with the Japanese fried food "Tempura".
This is a tempura bath fizz which not only looks like one, but also fries just like the real one.

When you open the box, you will find a chunk of yellow object which looks like the tempura dipped in batter. Once you drop it in the tub, it releases many bubbles and loud popping sounds just like when a tempura is being fried. (Although it's tempura, the fragrance is apple-scented because you don't want an oily scent during your bathing time) After the bubbles disappear, there you will find a toy tempura shrimp! (5 types in total)

Then there is cash bath which makes you feel like a millionaire just for your bath time. These sheet-type bath bills releases a white rose scent.
Once the bills start dissolving, sprinkle the shower over them and they will turn into bubbles.

I got a bath gift from a friend which was a box from
the U.K. originated bath shop LUSH.

Inside, there were couple bath bombs which shoots out all sorts of
treats like flower petals, hearts, stars and so on.
I tried one the other day which was a fortune telling bath bomb.
After the bomb dissolved, there was a piece of paper floating.
I unfolded the paper and it said "You are currently in a friendship
mood" and out of the 3 stars on the sheet, only one was colored in black
which obviously meant that was the worst one anyone could get.

All alone in the tub, I was left with no more bubbles and just bad luck.
I thought those were supposed to have good results for all of them!
Nobody told me they actually put in bad ones too.

Anyway, the last one does not have a visual fun effect like the first two. However, unlike the first two which have unmatching fragrances from the object, this one actually smells like the real one.

I don't know who would suggest to make this it into bath powder but here it is... New York Cheese Cake bath powder.

Although New York cheese cake is one of my favorite desserts,I can not imagine whether it'll be nice to have the smell of it while I'm in the tub. It would be a good diet, if it makes me feel like I ate one with just the scent instead of eating the real one. But if it's just going to make me crave for one it could be a big distraction for a cheese cake lover.

Ahh Mana, you told me about the bath bombs from LUSH. Hopefully those fortune-fizzers aren't true. I have yet to use my heart bath fizzers I got for my birthday 2 years ago because I don't take baths.

Cheesecake bath powder? I love cheesecake, but I'm sure if I want to smell like one if I take that bath.

Tempura bath bomb? That sounds interesting...

I never like long baths because itĄs so boring too!

Something else: CdJapan`s newsletters come with "...favorite aritst" instead of "artist" in the subject line.

Jen>I didn't use my bath fizzers for a year after I got mine but then I noticed those had expiration dates
and mine were just about to expire.
I was planning to use them on special days but I ended up using 12 bath bombs in a row every night. You should check yours too. They expire in a year.

anne>Are the newsletters titled "favorite artist" not artists
registered as your favorite artist?

Oh! In my country we don`t use tubs in the baths so for this reason it`s impossible to me use these bath fizzers but I think will be very relaxing for you, Mana!!
Totally apart, 2 things:
1- I noticed something strange in Hello Project that maybe you can help to clarify me Mana. Actually how many members have C-ute (5 or 7?) because in your calendar 2010 missing 2 members: Arihara Hana and the tall girl(I don`t remember your name).
2- Why CDJapan don`t have photobook of Momoko Tsugunaga "Momochiii" and new Risako`s photobook?
by Ken007 : Nov 17,2009
Mana, everything is fine with the content of the newsletters. I just wanted to tell you that the subject line has a typing mistake and it would look better without it :-)

Ken>
There were 8 C-ute members in 2006 but since then Ai Murakami, Kanna Arihara and Erika Umeda left the group.

Is this the photo book of Momoko Tsugunaga you are looking for?

And Risako Sugaya's photobook was not available at our supplier.

Hi Ann
I'm sorry that I didn't realize you were talking about a spell miss.
My eyesight gets so blurry sometimes for staring my computer for 10 hours.

Anyway, I informed our staff about the typo. Thank you so much for telling us!

Oh! Yes... This is it Mana.
Thank you so much.
