Hello, how is everyone?
Well it seems like everyone is getting excited about the end-of-year campaign. We are still working to get together the presents. I think they are good, but keep in mind that we have to come up with something that everyone can enjoy. So some of you will love certain presents and other presents may not mean anything to some people.
But since most of my blog readers seem like visual-kei lovers, I suggested to add something nice to the guy in charge of the visual-kei presents. And he's working on it. No matter what they are, we are working hard hoping that we'll hear a couple screams of joy from around the world at the end of December.
Well I think I'm going to get in trouble if I spill anymore than this.
So let me change the subject and ask you a question.
Is there anything that you would like to be able to purchase from CDJapan?
You guys should give a shot a tell me anything because one thing I like about CDJ is that if we come up with a nice idea, and if it is actually possible, we can put it into action right away.
Oh, but we can't export food becuase the restrictions are too strict and things that are too heavy or big have too many problems sending overseas.
Also by the way, tons of new arrivals from SEX POT ReVeNGe, Algonquins and Deorart are now available.

I would love to see a possibility to order telephone cards (mounted or regular) that you can collect and are related to anime or games. They are more regarded as trading cards and as far as I know they can't be used... Shipping could be done in envelopes like the discreet shipping option that's already available. Also files with plastic sheets to sort out collections of Stick posters, Trading cards, Telephone cards and Shitajiki (IF possible). Thanks.

Hello. I readed the iddue about food, but it would be good if someday you could put on sale japanese snacks, such as pretz or pockys. They come packaged as any tea bags and maybe it couldn't be a problem. Another thing is fanclub subscription for visual kei artists. Or the possibility to get all the items that are only for japan fans. Thanks.

I would love to be able to get visual band's posters and tour goods,merchandise... which aren't available in our countries... stuff you can only get in Japan...
(P.S. If this does become a reality, get A TON because, I (and I know many others) would be crushed if our favorite bands tour goods sell out!!)

I'd love to see some VK band calendars. I know Kaya and Versailles have some amazing ones but they've only been available at their lives so far. More posters of bands would be awesome as well. And I agree with individual issues of magazines (Shoxx, Fool's Mate, Cure, Arena 37C, Neo Genesis, etc). And also things like T-shirts, hoodies, keychains, anything that bands would sell at their lives. I love being able to wear shirts for artists I love and walking around town with them only to have someone ask me about them (that way I can corrupt them into Japanese music, too ^_^). And this is just an afterthought, but if it would be at all possible, how about ways to buy tickets to lives in Japan? I know there are a lot of people who fly to Japan just for concerts, but they've always had to have someone else help them with going through the ticket-buying process and it is a pain if you don't know it already and can't read Japanese. That would be really cool :)

ManaB, i was wondering if CDJ could put box for ticking at the "view cart" section? cause i find it very annoying having to delete/ move the things i didnt want on the cart/ save it for later when i decide not to buy them yet .. when i have alot of items at the cart . Thanks!

A little suggestion
Would it be possible to see the date that an order has been shipped on in the order details? We can already see the date the order has been placed but not when it has been shipped. We do get an e-mail telling us when it was shipped but I don't keep those mails once the order arrived at my place. Still I think it would be handy if we could see that information in the details of our orders.

Well, I don't know if this is possible.. but what about giving the chance of joining a band's fanclub? Dir en grey, for example. Their fanclub is only open to people who live in Japan, but I am sure there are people outside of Japan, who would like the chance to be in their fanclub. Or how about more of their merchandise, like T-shirts, bags, etc.? I hope this won't be as impossible as it sounds. ^^ I am sure many of their fans outside of Japan would love this idea.

More CDs
I believe that it would be great if CD-Japan increased their stock of CDs. While CD-J already has pretty much the best stock of CDs that can be shipped outside of Japan, it would be great if you were able to get distribution with even more labels. For example, there are many CDs you can buy from Disk-Union that you still cannot buy from CD-Japan (such as some progressive and metal bands, underground artists, hardcore/punk, indie, etc.). It would be awesome if CD-Japan started to stock more underground bands and an even wider variety unto an already wide variety.

TV-Dramas with English subtitles?
I don't know if this is in the realm of the impossible but it would be wonderful if one could buy the Japanese TV-Drama DVDs - such as Nodame Cantabile, Attention Please etc. - with English subtitles.
