The preorder deadline is exactly what you think it is. Items with a deadline are preorder-only, so we don't carry stock of them unless someone cancels an order.

As for the QR code, I'm not sure what you mean. Where did you see a QR code listed?

Ah, and now I know what you're talking about. The QR code is a special barcode for cell phones. You can scan it with the camera of any Japanese phone (using the "barcode" function) and it'll take you to a website (in this case, probably Sex Pot). I don't think I've seen the QR codes done in other countries though.

As for the Chopper box, you've still got one more day ;) Woh . . . you get 92 keychains with the set!?

How come some goods are available on both neowing and cdjapan while others, that you would also expect to see on both aren't? (ex: Clannad trading cards (NEOSL-12867) available on both, but binder only on neowing (NEOSL-12866))

We try to list as many items as possible on both sites, but items we either deem too risque or items with weird preorder deadlines we don't list on CDJapan to avoid confusion.

With the Clannad binder it was the latter--the preorder deadline was two days after it would have gone up on our site, but two days before we would have been able to notify figure newsmail subscribers, so it was left off (the lead time for figure newsmail is intentionally long so we have time to translate).

However, it turns out that the deadline was extended to today, so we're going to add the info to CDJapan and order a little extra so you guys have a chance to buy some. Thanks for the notification!

Regarding U2 and Coldplay, we don't have any posters or other collectibles for them, but we do have the advanced Japanese release of Coldplay's new album "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" with Japan-edition bonus tracks if you're interested. That can be found here:

As for the card cases, Nagaoka doesn't make anything for collector's cards (they're more of a CD/DVD/Laserdisc/LP brand), but I'm trying to get the person responsible for stocking goods here to stock card cases for you. However, none of the companies we have contracted now stock them, so you might have to wait until we add new brands before you see them in stock. I'm sorry that it's taking us so long.

Thanks for the info Dan. I can understand that some aspects of the market and/or some practical reason affect what goods can or can't be proposed on the CDJapan website. I sure doesn't seem that easy to combine daily updates of that many products on both sites at the same speed. Well, thanks anyway for looking into the issue of the binder and thanks to CDJapan/Neowing team for adding in int even while there's just 1 day remaining to order it (already placed my order ^^)

Unfortunate, we can't help you with Perfume. Neowing received an unprecedented number of preorders for the album, so we ended up adding to our initial request for the limited editions as much as the manufacturer would let us and we still sold out. Gomen ne, but we'll only be able to get the regular edition.

Oh! Yeaaaah! These card cases are PERFECT for me Dan. Thank you so much for your great efforts to contact the guy of stock goods. But if you don`t notice 2 items of Card Barrier Super 100 Series are in Super 80 (the Black and Gold versions). I chose the purple color.
And for Perfume CD also thanks: I believe it will have to purchase the regular version. Sniff...!

P.S. For curiosity and talking about perfumes you don`t know Dan, if the perfume bonus produced by Rina Aiuchi herself that comes in your next album (Trip) is for women or men?
