Samples In A Flash
Apr 04,2008
Hey all,

This week I'm pleased to announce we've moved the majority of our song samples over to Flash format. If you've listened to samples on our site in the last day or two, you might have noticed something different, Flash is it!

Samples for pretty much all major releases have been moved from our previous Real Player/Windows Media format to Flash. You still access the samples the same way (click the blue box by the tracklist to open a new window), and if you can run Flash Player you can play the samples. The only thing different you should notice is that the samples should seem to load faster. Please note that while major label releases are in Flash format, indie label releases will, for the time being, remain in Windows Media or Real Player formats.

In addition to our switch to Flash, we've also slightly revamped our samples pages to include Japanese and English product descriptions, as well as Japanese and English song titles.

Have a great weekend, and I'll see you next week!

Thanks! Yeah, we'd like to have samples for everything but some of the manufacturers are hit and miss with them. I'm glad you like the new feature!

Thanks!
Hi again, my friend Dan.
Thank you for the new magazine of JPOP that cames in my order.
If this worthwhile for my tastes. By the way since when left in Japan? It is new?...
Ah! I almost forget ... What is this rare TV program that has just emerged called "Berrykuuu". I do not understand at all???
by Ken007 : Apr 07,2008
Hi Ken007,
I'm glad you like the magazine!
I'm not sure if I understand your question, but if you're asking if I've left Japan . . . I'm still here and will be here for a while!

As for BerryCu, it's a brand new variety program starring Berryz Kobo and Cute! The two groups face off in games and quizes. I've never seen it, but I think it runs for 7 minutes every weekday around 1 in the morning on TV Tokyo, Osaka, and Hokkaido.

?????
Je,je,je.
I think, I explained bad. No Dan, I referred to the MAGAZINE, not to you my friend. Only asked if it is new or not? ONLY THIS...
And thank you for BerryCu info.

Oh, sorry! In that case, you're probably talking about V!NYL SYNDICATE, right? We give it out free with every SEX POT ReVeNGe order while we have them in stock. The magazine only comes out four times a year, so we usually run out pretty quick which is why you might not have received a copy in the past.

wohjai> The wallpapers are nice! Was Utada's hair really like that in the second (yellow-greenish) one? I really don't remember that hairstyle. It must have been difficult trying to get a selection around that hair.
by dan : Apr 10,2008
Oh, that greenish one isn't one of my wallpapers. I just found that online. It was some sort of company promotional material. But the ones I made are available via the four download buttons.

I'm not sure what kind of hair gel she used for that hairstyle, but I really love that hairstyle! I have like 4-5 different Gatsby products and I could never get my hair to stick up like that.

Out of the ordinary: wow...I just counted...I have like 10 different hair products.

I was browsing CD reviews on "The Japan Times ONLINE" and I'd have to somewhat agree with this review of 'Heart Station':

http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/fm20080404l3.html

It was a great album, but with the upcoming "Prisoner of Love" single to be released later in May, that makes for 8 of the 13 tracks to be already released or soon to be released singles. Anyways, just an observation. What do you think?
by wohjai : Apr 11,2008
???????????????
No, No, No, and No, my friend Dan. I don`t have ordered any item of the SEX POT REVENGE page. My order only was for CD`s and DVD`s so my magazine was for JPOP themes. I think the name was BRAND HEAT!!! or something like that..
I don`t remember now. I will confirm you.. Don`t move out!!!

Take Free?
I`m back Dan. O.K. The name is "Beat Freak", issue 242 and the date say:2008 March 5. I understand now that it is not new but it is the first time that I see this magazine: The cover is for Every Little Thing group.

Ah, got it. Your's are nice wallpapers too. I think the gray bars running down the bottom of the page make a great contrast with the white picture, so if I had to choose I'd say I like wallpaper B better.

As for "Heart Station," believe it or not I haven't heard it yet (I keep hoping we'll get a sample in though I might just go and buy it). I guess eight tracks is a bit excessive, but if we're discussing previously released tracks, I was kinda miffed at "Ultra Blue" for having 4 singles out of 13 tracks on it (admittedly half of "Heart Station), but took four years to come out. It's still a great album, however.

Oh, hey! Believe it or not "Beat Freak" is new to me too, so I looked into it. Apparently the magazine is a free paper put out by Avex and we throw them in with Avex orders while we have them in stock. They aren't first press bonuses or anything, just free promotional items we get from manufacturers which we like to throw in to orders (apparently we receive things like "Beat Freak" from a number of manufacturers).

Well, I learn something new every day ;) By the way, this month's "Beat Freak" feature is on Ayumi Hamasaki.
by Dan : Apr 11,2008
Oh! I see... Maybe was because my order contain the new CD of Halko Momoi (artist of Avex) and have much promotional material of its artists with super reviews of all new releases.
Ayumi features the cover of this month, you say? This should be magnificent!!!
Thanks Dan.
