I enjoyed the Christmas promotions and I'll be looking forward to the new promotions for January...

on a side note: when I want to login into my account I get directed to the Neowing login screen where cdjapan customers can't login.

Thank you, and I'm looking for another year with nice goods from CDJ. :)

I've got the same problem as shawurai, so I'm guessing the CDJ system is down from now until the first days of january? It was a surprise when I tried to order something and got redirected to Neowing's page without warning or explanation. ^^;;

Thanks guys, it's times like these I'm glad we have a blog. I've just put in a call to our system team so the CDJapan sign in and check out pages should be back to normal later today. We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused everyone.

A big Thank You for the continuous, hard work,

H.N.Y. from me
Hello my friend Dan.

Very creative your New Year Daily Sale.
There will be very attentive all 3 days.

I enjoyed so much this year that will go with all your promotions. Keep well guys, you are the best. I also wish you have spent a Happy Christmas with their families, and I hope to see you next year fill with health and work.

PS: Moreover, a great leg of pork is waiting for me to dinner.

Thanks guys but don't thank me--thanks go to Toshi Makiya and the rest of the CDJ support team for picking up on this earlier than me and the system team guys who came in on a holiday to fix it. Thanks to their hard work we should be fine from now on.

You guys also have a great New Year's and again, thanks for coming all the way out to the blog to notify us!

Mmm, pork . . .

Happy New Year~ ^^ The otoshidama sale looks fun!

Do you know if there will also be fukubukuro for sale like last year? I really enjoyed mine.

Also I had a weird(?) suggestion for next year - it would be neat to have a sale (or maybe just a shopping guide?) with the albums of songs sung at the KouHaku. Just a thought!
by rinji : Jan 01,2008
Hi Rinji,
First of all, I appologize for not responding sooner, I've been out of the office since New Year's so I didn't get a chance to check the blog.

However, thank you for the comments! I just talked to our promotions supervisor and it doesn't look like we're going to do fukubukuro this year. I really liked your suggestion for a Kohaku special though, and while we won't be able to run a sale for Kohaku singles, I will get up a page featuring the artists involved as soon as I can.

Thanks again for your comments and happy new year!

Interrogant?
Hello my friend Dan.

Now that it is gone 2007, and taking the opportunity and the theme that touches our friend Rinji I would like to know exactly what is "Kohaku".

I was reviewing the Internet and found a special year-end event (31/12/2007) called "58th-Kouhaku Utagassen." This will be that "Kohaku" because I see artists of Hello Project (Berryz Kobo, Morning Musume, C-ute) alongside other groups such as AKB48, Gackt and it seems to be incredible that all act together. This is a tradition like Countdowns of Ayumi or is the first time that was done in Japan?

If a DVD goes on sale I want one...

Hi Ken007,
Kohaku is an annual competition held every New Year's Eve. Japan's top female and male artists (with some internationals in there too) face off against each other in performances with the audience determining the winner at the end of the night (usually four hours!) This year is the 58th year.

Unfortunately, there aren't any DVDs out. But I just sent the Kohaku page to our web designer so it should be up sometime this week (hopefully tomorrow!) I'll post again with a link when it's up.

If you want to know more about Kohaku:

Everyone who's been waiting for a Kouhaku page, we've finally got a preliminary page up which is accessible at the link below. Click the "Recommendations and Songs for . . ." links to see the CDs containing songs performed at this year's Kohaku. Sorry it's taken so long but our web guy has been backed up.
