How to Purchase Rakuten Items on CDJapan
Option 1: Search yourself
Please use the search bar below to search using specific keywords.
* You'll get more results if you search in Japanese, rather than English or any other languages.
Since the Japanese product title can be found at the bottom of each CDJapan product page, it’s a good idea to copy and paste it.
* If you use the "Translation Search" function, your search terms will be automatically translated using machine translation.
However, proper nouns, names, character names may not be translated accurately.
* You can also find the search bar on the CDJapan proxy shopping top page, which enables you to search on Yahoo Shopping, Rakuten Shopping and Mercari.
Option 2: Make a request directly with the purchase link
If you've done your own research and have already acquired the purchase link, you can make the request without going through the search process.
You can directly access a request form via the bellow button. After confirming its availability & price (It usually requires 2-3 working days), your item will be listed on CDJapan like non-proxy items. You can check the status of your requests at Proxy Shopping - Customer Account.

In which case, CDJapan will refund in full (item price + shipping + other service fees occurred) or replace damaged/missing item(s) accordingly.

^ *2. International Shipping Charge only occurs as an estimate, the difference between the actual price will be either charged or refunded in the next transaction.
^ *3. You can confirm VAT in the order summary if your order is applicable for VAT/GST advance payment.
If your order is applicable to pay VAT/GST upon delivery, VAT and duties will not be included in the estimated order total.

* Whereas usually one parcel is sufficient for one order, in case the volume of your Requested Order exceeds the capacity of the largest box we have available, the order will be split accordingly.

Important Notes
- The product is not secured when you placed your order at CDJapan.
- The international shipping fee is an estimate.
- We cannot negotiate with shops for separate sales or discounts.
- Some CDJapan coupons are not eligible for proxy purchase.
- We cannot handle the following Rakuten items:
- Sample or promotional discs, bootlegs (CDs, DVDs)
- Food and beverages
- “Auction-style” items
- Adult content
- Any item priced over 200,000 yen
- And other prohibited items
There will be a 1–2 business day lag between your purchase on CDJapan and our proxy purchase.
Once we have secured the item, we will notify you via email.
If your requested item is unfortunately sold out after your purchase, we will cancel it.
The international shipping fee will be calculated based on the estimated size/weight.
Please take note that if required, additional international shipping fees will be charged at the time of shipment.
