Vinyl corners bend so easily... can it survive shipping overseas?

Absolutely. CDJapan developed a custom vinyl shipping box specifically to protect corners and prevent warping.
LP sleeve cases are often prone to damage, particularly at the corners.
To address this issue, we have developed CDJapan's original packaging box designed specifically for LPs.

We use thicker cardboard and adjust the box size to ensure better protection for your LPs.
This LP box has two layers of cardboard, providing extra strength to endure the long journey from Japan to your destination.
With this specially designed packaging, you can trust that your LPs will arrive in mint condition, allowing you to fully enjoy your music collection.

How to Avoid Wrinkles and Damage to Posters


Posters I ordered elsewhere arrived wrinkled or folded...

Not at CDJapan. We never fold posters. Instead, we:

  • Gently roll them into a sturdy, thick tube
  • Ship them separately to avoid pressure from other goods

We send posters in a protective tube without folding it

CDJapan sends the poster without folding it. The order is sent in a protective tube to prevent damage. *Except over 52cm wide poster (over B2 size).

How to Prevent Damage to Anime Figures


Figures have fragile parts. I’m afraid they’ll break during shipping.

To protect your figures, we:

  • Place the original figure box inside a larger box
  • Add cushioning on all sides to prevent impact

This is a box-type shipping container designed to accommodate bulky items such as figures. Multiple sizes are available, and the most suitable box is selected for a perfect fit.

Filling the gaps with cushioning materials ensures that the contents of the box remain well-protected from damage during shipping.

How to Keep Manga and Magazines from Bending


Books and magazines often arrive with bent corners or creases...

To keep everything flat and sharp:

  • Bundles multiple books to avoid movement
  • Uses snug-fit boxes that reduce shock
