Ultraman Returns To The Silver Screen

Forget everything you've even known about Japan's number one superhero. This revisionist approach throws the format out and starts fresh.
Japanese Air Self-Defense Force pilot Maki collides with a mysterious red-glowing object in the sky. Miraculously, Maki turns up alive just as the anti-bio terrorist division of the Defense Agency has an encounter with "The One." Changing into the new "Ultraman," (a really cool Guyver-esque design) Maki (Tetsuya Bessho of "GODZILLA vs MOTHRA (1992)" fame) must save the Earth from certain destruction.
Gone are the traditional transformation device and space age weaponry, this is a more adult, contemporary tale, fueled by human drama. The special effects are superb - the best yet. For the first time, Tsuburaya Productions offer English Subtitles for non-Japanese speaking fans to enjoy.
Also, don't forget getting the soundtrack album (supervised by B'z guitarist Tak Matsumoto). It includes "Never Good-Bye" performed by TMG, band consisting of Eric Martin (ex-Mr.Big), Jack Blades (ex-Night Ranger, Damn Yankees), and Brian Tichy (Ball, ex-Pride&Glory, Slash's Snakepit).
