Tokyo Gore Police comes out on April 10, 2009!

Tokyo Gore Police, a bizarre action film directed by Yoshihiro Nishimura, a make-up department director of "The Machine Girl" release on DVD with bonus soundtrack CD!
This film was invited to several film festivals in different parts of the world and won prizes. Stars Eihi Shiina, heroine of the Takashi Miike's splatter film "Audition."

Plot: In the not-so-distant future in Japan, monstrous humanoid mutants called "Engineers" commit heinous indiscriminate murders after murders. To counteract against the atrocities and the lawlessness, the Police Force of Tokyo has been privatized and they are now heavily and seriously armed. They inaugurate a secret military squad with an explicit order to terminate the Engineers, and they carry out the brutal task ruthlessly, apparently without any regard for human lives. The "Engineer Hunter" Ruka (Eihi Shiina), who belong to the squad is very skilled with her sword she goes on a solo investigative mission. . .
