Evangelion 1.0 You are (not) Alone

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Legendary 1990s animation series "Neon Genesis Evangelion" returns with the help of some new faces to bring you the completely revamped "Neon Genesis Evangelion" animated theatrical feature "Evangelion 1.0 You are (not) Alone"!

Amassing theater lines on the day of its screen debut surpassing that of the original series feature, the screening venue for this feature was temporarily changed from the 224-seat Cinema Square to the 1046-seat Shinjuku Milano theater--now you don't need to suffer that trauma since the most talked about work of 2007 now comes to DVD! This is the first work in planned trilogy of films to revisit the "Evangelion" universe. "Evangelion 1.0" retells the story of the first half of the original anime series, only this time significant pieces of the animation have been recreated with the latest 2D and 3D animation techniques. Brace yourself for the smoothest, most vivid rendering of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" yet!

The new theatrical feature is available in two types, limited pressing edition and regular edition. Limited pressing edition set includes a bonus disc with feature "Explanation of Evangelion: 1.01," feature "Rebuild of Evangelion 1.01," "Angel of Doom PV," Evangelion-style music video for Hikaru Utada's theme song "Beautiful World," and more. The set also features bonus goods like an explanatory guide, bonus film still actually used in the theatrical run of the film, and deluxe box.
