noodles - new full-length album

Noodles

Japanese indie girl band noodles return with the follow-up full-length to last year's smash hit "Cover Me Shakespeare."

Their new album "Metropolis" features 11 new songs in the band's distinctive lo-fi guitar mode. Again seeing a release on the pillows member Sawao Yamanaka's Delicious label, the new noodles album includes a new version of the track "Love My Life" (from the noodles-produced soundtrack to the film of the same name) plus the songs "glasgow girl," "super star," "the fur," and bitter friend" from the soundtrack to the TV program "Senjo no Girl's Life." In addition, the album includes a bonus DVD with the music video for the song "Grease." "Metropolis" came out October 17, 2007.

If you want to learn more about noodles, check out their MySpace page for samples and official website for information. If you like what you hear, be sure to check out noodles on their San Francisco, LA, and New York concert tour in October of this year. And, of course, be sure to order "Metropolis"!
