Dir en grey - Dozing Green Single

Aggressive Japanese hard rock band Dir en grey return with "Dozing Green," the first new single since the release of the band's smash-hit full-length "The Marrow of a Bone" in February of this year.

Sharing a name with the band's current concert tour, "Dozing Green" is scheduled to include three tracks total. The title track vocally picks up where things left off on "The Marrow of a Bone," with vocalist Kyo performing audio battery through his forceful singing. In contrast, the band is said to be focusing on rhythm and melody, channelling more groove and density into the onslaught than has been found on singles like "Agitated Screams of Maggots." Speaking of which, in addition to the title track, "Dozing Green" will include a live version of "Agitated Screams of Maggots" from the "The Marrow of a Bone" album release commemorative fan concert, as well as a destroyed version of the song "Hydra" from the "Macabre" album rebuilt into the new track "Hydra -666-."

"Dozing Green" will be available in two varieties. Regular edition features only the three-song single with booklet, while the limited edition features alternate cardboard sleeve-style case and bonus sticker. "Dozing Green" comes out October 24, 2007. Order now!
