noodles - Cover Me Shakespeare

This year noodles commemorate their fifteenth year together as a band with the release of their seventh full-length album "Cover Me Shakespeare." Pillows leader Sawao Yamanaka thinks you should check them out and CDJapan does too.

Kicking off their career in 1991, they released their first album on the popular Benten label before transferring Sawao Yamanaka's independant Delicious label. In 2003 they opened for one of their favorite bands, The Breeders, during their Japan tour, and toured America with the pillows in 2005 during the "Delicious Bump" tour. Their new album features 11 tracks of full-on girls guitar pop.
