Violinist Taro Hakase and the London Philharmonic Orchestra present the third official single to be announced in preparation for the upcoming Square-Enix game "Final Fantasy XII." The single, titled "Symphonic Poem "Hope" (Final Fantasy XII Main Theme)" comes in two versions, the standard edition and CD+DVD version that includes a collection of scenes from the game.
Also check out the two "Final Fantasy XII" theme song singles from Angela Aki. The recently released first single, "Kokoro no Senshi" comes with a DVD compiling the music video for the song and more footage for the game (limited edition only). Her follow-up single, also for "Final Fantasy XII," titled "Kiss Me Goodbye" features writing credits from Angela Aki herself and composition by none other than long-time series composer Nobuo Uematsu. Single includes both Japanese and English versions of the song!
. . . And for those truly craving more Square-Enix soundtrack enjoyment, the soundtracks for ""Kingdom Hearts II" (Yoko Shimomura) and "Front Mission 5 - Scars of the War" (Hidenori Iwasaki) both come out January 25.
