Marugoto: Japanese language and culture Intermediate1 B1The Japan FoundationI really like itI bough it straight after the A2/B1 Pre-Advanced book and it's still really good! It's a lot harder though. There's more exercise from listening, reading and more writing. But it is an intermediate book afterall! The same as for the previous books - it's better suited for groups but I'm personally using it for self-study, so everything is possible. At this moment I'm on chapter 7 and I did purchase the next book :)

Sumikko Gurashi Hajimete no Sticker BookShufu to SeikatushaSumikko Gurashi Kawaii! These stickers are too cute to use. This is a small to mid-sized sticker book like ones I used to buy at the drug store as a kid. They have several pages with different styles and designs of stickers featuring Sumikko Gurashi characters. Some are round, some are square, some are of them eating, at a matsuri type event and even an onsen. In the back were mini letters, seals and postcards to cut out and use.

Nihongo Kihon Bunpo Jiten: A Dictionary of Basic Japanese GrammarSeiichi Makino, Michio Tsutsui, Japan TimesLibro completoEste libro fue de mucha ayuda cuando hice la prueba N4 en Diciembre de 2019. Sirve para repasar todo lo que se ha dado en otros libros como Genki o Minna no Nihongo.

1000 Essential Vocabulary for the JLPT N5 [English and Vietnamese translation]Arc AcademyNiceGot this as part of MIA and I'm now 400 cards in. For my use with MIA's cards, it works great. (P.S, for all of you not doing MIA or doing some different approach, the book comes with a red plastic sheet that blocks out answers to test yourself. It say so on the cover but I would imagine some people might miss it. I know I did) . All and all, good book.

Chukyu He Iko Nihongo No Bunkei to Hyogen 55Hirai Etsuko / Cho Miwa Sachiko / ChoGood book to use after genki or MnNI tried to use another intermediate book after I finished Genki but it was too difficult. I'm so glad a found this textbook. It's made to bridge the beginner level and intermediate level. The only problem with this book is that it doesn't explain the grammar in detail.

Alice's adventures in wonderland (Kadokawa Tsubasa Bunko)Lewis Carroll, Shoichiro Kawai, okamaGreat edition for those learningEN: Tsubasa Bunko editions are for elementary scholl students, these contain simple texts, with full furigana cover for all kanjis, as beautifull illustrations by Japanese manga artists. As someone who is learning the language this kind of edition is a way to go for more complex reading. As a curiosity note, despite being called Bunko, they have the size of a Tanko manga.

New Perfect Master Dokkai (Reading Comprehension) Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 (with English and Chinese Translation)3A NetworkRecommendedPlenty of exercises, a must-have for anyone preparing for the JLPT I'd say. Shows you where you need to be careful in which format of text and what to pay attention to if you want to pass smoothly, with a good score and some excess time, too so you can go over the questions again. I came across a bunch of new vocab in the book, too. Got full points on the reading part, I don't regret my purchase at all :)

Minna no Nihongo Intermediate Japanese Level1 Main Textbook3A NetworkFor a hardworking japanese lover!I'm in love with this book! At first I was afraid it was going to be too different that could be complicated to learn, compared to the Minna no Nihongo beginner books it is in fact a bit different, but in a good way. The activities became more extensive and it has a lot more content to learn, but the stories and characteres make it way more intuitive and fun! It is a must-buy! Amazing book!!

Nihongo ga IppaiRi Tokuei, Naomi Ogi, Masahiro Toma, Yoko Yonezawa, CuiYueYanA great Japanese learning book!I'm starting learning Japanese on my own, and I found a small review of "Nihongo ga Ippai" (actually I only found one in Spanish, none in English). I ordered the second printing, which has a green line and circle on the cover (they are red on the first published printing). I only found it in a couple of Japanese websites, like CDJapan, and in Amazon.com or Amazon.co.jp (it's not in Amazon.es). The book (in both printings) is in English and Japanese. I have recently received the book (it took a while from Japan to Spain, but it arrived perfectly), and I find it really good and useful! I just started with it, and it's very clear, very easy to understand and follow. It has conversations, vocabulary, grammar, exercises (it includes a separate booklet with the answers), all very well organized. The explanations are very easy to understand, and it also has some notes about the use of the language, and even some pieces about the culture. A very good book to get a basic knowledge and to advance from it. I strongly recommend it! Congratulations to the authors on this great book, and thank you very much for having created it! (I'm so glad I found it!).

Nihongo Kihon Bunpo Jiten: A Dictionary of Basic Japanese GrammarSeiichi Makino, Michio Tsutsui, Japan TimesExcellentEasy to understand with concise explanation and example sentences. The size is also very convenient. This is a very good reference book for studying Japanese and should be a part of every Nihongo student’s library. Kudos to CD Japan for the very efficient service and timely delivery. I received my book in 8 days. This was my second time to order because I was really happy when I received my first set of order. I’m hooked to ordering books from CD Japan now.
