Received my new manga of this Saint Seiya spin off fast. The manga-ka Suda Tsunakan-san is a very talented artist and writer. Just from the cover of Gemini no Kanon, his artwork strongly resembles Kurumada-sensei! Very interesting seeing Sorrento and his teammates view the past, including the title character’s previous incarnation. The Marine Generals have the development they needed.

Arrived with no issues, the volume itself with the additional poetry booklet was so beautiful. The special dust cover has a nice textured paper feel, and Phos drawn with colour pencils on the cover is so bitter sweet.

In volume 4 we learn more about Totori and Lex! The worst part is all crappy ass B class teacher x.x He’s actually so annoying. I need him to disappear.

Solo sensei gets offered to a school revolution?! Sudden Snow White adventure?! And we see Nagisa shine for a bit, though he’s quite cold to class S as of the moment. I hope he warms up to them and gets attached one day TT

If D stands for Dropout, B stands for Baka, then S stands for Shut the F*ck Up and Sit Your Ass Back Down. It’s actually so irritating my blood pressure is skyrocketing. I seriously can’t stand their school’s ridiculous sacrificial education. They’re just fostering a bunch of toxic and arrogant mean girls to populate the great demand for Mages. This is like the equivalent of doctors only knowing how to study and memorize facts and having 0 social skills in society. No one wants a deal with a POS that put all points into IQ and left EQ to rot from since they were a fetus.

Short training arc and midterm time! Glad it’s not me who has to take the tests *sweats* I love the dynamic between Ibuki and Shao and can’t wait to see more development!

This volume is also very enjoyable! Watching the students eventually open their hearts to Solo Sensei is very wholesome. Can’t wait to meet the remaining students as we keep progressing in the story ^^

Reminds me of other mangas like Iruma kun and Assassination Classroom. I’m enjoying it a lot so far as we get introduced to our characters slowly. I hope one day our lone wolf Solo Sensei will find himself surrounded by love from all of his students.
