One Punch Man 30 (Jump Comics)ONE / Yusuke MurataUnbelievable story with stunning art
This is truly peak fiction, every character is being used in the scenes and there is one action scene after another. Never a dull moment, sacrifices been made and King"s appearance giving the heroes and villains a time to breath, all eyes on King to see how he will act in the situation. PS. There is furigana for people who are still learning Japanese and Kanji.

Pretty Guardian (Bishojo Senshi) Sailor Moon [Complete Edition] 10Naoko TakeuchiThe end of Sailor Moon
Oh the final volume with the 5 final chapters with a lot of characters, which unfortunately can't get enough time to develop and we don't really get to know them, however, a lot of those cahracters grew to my heart. Especially Sailor Heavy Metal Papillion. In this volume everything is resolved. I'd not say every little plothole is explained, especially the weird take on time travel, but well that's doesn't really bother. I think the final arc says a lot about Taoism and how light and darkness always will continue to try overpowering each other. And as I said, Usagi gets so much development here. She's not the same 14 years old middle school girl who ended tragically as the moon princess in the first arc. No, she really fought in the best way, supported by the ones she loves. But also: there's a lot about Sailor Galaxia, Chaos and also Cosmos. Enjoy the series :)

Pretty Guardian (Bishojo Senshi) Sailor Moon 5 (Kodansha Manga Bunko)Naoko TakeuchiThis volume is thicc
Yes, volume 5 is here as well and wow this is a really thick book! It has a much bigger page count than the others and so it covers most of the Mugen Gakuen Arc or Infinity Arc. All my personal favourite Senshi appear in this volume except for the "final Senshi". It's a bit sad that the entire arc didn't fit into the volume, but since this is already such a bulky book, I think you've got a huge bang for your bug.

Pretty Guardian (Bishojo Senshi) Sailor Moon 6 (Kodansha Manga Bunko)Naoko TakeuchiThe other thicc one!
Volume 6 is maybe the thickest book of all the manga. It contains the entire second half of the Infinity Arc and also starts out with the Dead Moon Arc or Dream Arc if you will. So in addition to the usual story, there are again two bonus chapters included. Chibiusa's diary which is more on the funny and lighthearted side - it's about the Tanabata festival. And we have Kaguyahime no koibito, which is about Luna having a crush on someone. You know, it's the same as the one Sailor Moon movie from the 90's anime. This volume is also highly recommended, since Sailor Saturn is finally here. The art is as pretty as always and the story continues in a well-paced manner.

Pretty Guardian (Bishojo Senshi) Sailor Moon 7 (Kodansha Manga Bunko)Naoko TakeuchiFirst half of the Dream Arc
I'd say that this volume contains the first half of the Dream Arc, minus the one or two chapters in the previous one. I didn't remember the Dream Arc to be this long, but here we are. The Dream Arc is in fact my favourite Arc since it tells sp much about character development and contains more clues about the overarching story. I just can say - yes, it's a highly recoomended volume. Please don't hesitate to get it no matter which version.

Pretty Guardian (Bishojo Senshi) Sailor Moon 8 (Kodansha Manga Bunko)Naoko TakeuchiA lot of bonus chapters!
The second half of the Dream Arc is here! I love it so much, especially because of the relationship between Chibiusa and Helios. I think there's a lot of character development for Chibiusa in this volume. It also shows that Chibiusa and Usagi are very different from each other and not only "kopies" as suggested in the previous volumes where the Moon Princess is always like their mother. In this volume there are also a lot of extra chapters that don't contribute to the overall plot, but are nice refreshing additions to the stories. There's another Chibiusa Diary chapter as well as love stories for Mako-chan, Ami-chan and Rei-chan. But now that we're finished with my favourite arc, the darkest one is yet to follow.

Pretty Guardian (Bishojo Senshi) Sailor Moon 9 (Kodansha Manga Bunko)Naoko TakeuchiThis one is tiny
I don't mean the format! I think I already mentioned that in the first volume, so I didn't just find out about this after 9 volumes ;) What I mean is, compared to the other volumes, this one is really, really short. It contains the first six chapters of the Stars arc, which covers about the first movie of the Cosmos anime movies. So you know exactly where the sotry is going. It's getting darker and darker and really sad! We're also getting a lot of character development for Usagi. Not that she doesn't get any in previous arcs, but I think in this final one, she's really growing from all of her experiences.

[Secondhand] Pretty Guardian (Bishojo Senshi) Sailor Moon [Complete Edition] 2Naoko TakeuchiFinishes the dark kingdom arc
This volume covers the second half of the dark kingdom arc, and adds the first chapter of the Black Moon arc. I guess it's for teasing a new beginning and not confuse new readers that there's still more content to discover.

CLAMP PREMIUM COLLECTION Magic Knight Rayearth 2 1 (KCDX)CLAMPThe story continues
Ah, I love Magic Knight Rayearth 2 (MKR2) so much! The continuition of the end of MKR1 is so moody and sad. The main characters are showing real character development while still remaining themselves. Well, the three girls return to Cephiro and now they need to help find a new pillar. Or a new god or goddess if you will. Other nations (or aliens, if you want to call them that) are going to try to become the pillar as a new addition to their original nations - but the Magic Knights decide to fight so only someone who truly loves the world Cephiro will become the pillar.

CLAMP PREMIUM COLLECTION Magic Knight Rayearth 2 2 (KCDX)CLAMPEnemies but also not
MKR by Clamp is truly a masterpiece where you can never know if a character is truly evil or good. In this part you will learn about Lantis' motives and motivation which is far stronger than the other enemies' plans and motivations. Hikaru is plotting something in her head and I think most reader already guess what she is up to. THis part is super action loaded but also quite moody. I think the tone of the manga already shifted back in MKR 1 part 2, but still, it is always possible to get a little darker! I think you will enjoy this manga a lot when you like versatile stories and dynamic characters.

CLAMP PREMIUM COLLECTION Magic Knight Rayearth 2 3 (KCDX)CLAMPThe finale!
MKR 2 part 3 comes with a genius conclusion and ahm some very funny surprises. I have to admit when I read the manga the first time as a teenager, I knew what the conclusion would be - at last partly. With partly I mean what Hikaru does throughout the story. However, how she would do the things she does and also Mokona's position in the story was very unexpected. I love the end of the story and I think it really stands out, while it is a typical "good old Clamp" ending. I wish all of the newer Clamp series' would have such good quality as their older masterpieces.

Uzumaki (Big Comics Special)
Junji ItoUzumaki (Big Comics Special)Junji ItoGives you the best shiversProbably one of Ito-sensei's masterpieces! If all horror manga were this creepy, I would consume them all. But honestly Ito-sensei's manga are my favourite horror manga! The synopsis simply says: Kurouzu-cho, a small fogbound town on the coast of Japan, is cursed. However, the town is not haunted by a person or a being, but a pattern - uzumaki, the spiral. So it sounds a little ridiculous, right? Yet Ito manages to make such a concept absolutely terrifying! His imagination reminds me of Clive Barkers in so many ways, I almost can’t fathom how they come up with such insane, disturbing ideas. The illustrations are all so detailed and incredible, just mind-bending and horrifying as well as beautiful at the same time. Some will live long in the memory! I loved how each chapter had its own self-contained story or theme, therefore it’s very easy to pick up and read a single chapter and still get a satisfying experience. And yet the story manages to connect all the single stories with an overarching one which leads to an unexpected conclusion! Uzumaki really has it all: terrifying body horror, Lovecraftian elements, boundless imagination, and an unnerving sense of dread that pervades throughout its entirety. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.
