As an avid AKIRA fan from the west, I must say owning this layouts and key frames Vol. 1 book is a must! This book is absolutely wonderful and a great addition to my Akira collection! Everything from the vibrant pink cover to the abundance of layout images and gorgeous cel replicas is amazing. There are actually a lot more cels than I was expecting. The book is very heavy and rich with content. I have been a fan of this film for decades and it's fantastic to get such a glimpse into the production process behind a masterpiece film.

The second volume of an awesome book. If it weren't for Katsuhiro Otomo's interest, I wouldn't be able to enjoy replicating his drawings and animation research, which he created from his own hands for the movie “AKIRA.” The price can be pricey, but it's very cheap for something that comes in full color, including the final acetate duplicate. A publisher would never have risked publishing it. That's a gift for the fans. Highly recommended book!

This special edition manga is wonderful and also comes with a special edition booklet with many wonderful art!

The third and final Layouts and Key Frames collection is the best one. The first two were very nice, but this one is even better. It's just crammed full of drawings and cels from the climax of the movie....which is the best part of course! The reproductions are so meticulously done, you would swear you're holding an original pencil drawing or production cel in your hands. Grab all three, but if you only get one, make it this one!

This special edition manga comes with a wonderful little pill case and a drawstring bag I can use for my own medication! Manga is great as always!

Volume 16 raises the intensity with stronger battles and sharper character moments. Yuuki’s role continues to evolve, and the power dynamics between the squads feel more serious and strategic than before. The fanservice is still present, but it’s better balanced with action and plot progression. The antagonists feel more threatening, setting up bigger conflicts ahead. Overall, it’s a solid volume that pushes the story forward while keeping the excitement high.

Volume 30 focuses on the complicated relationships between Nagi Umino, Erika Amano, Hiro Segawa, and Sachi Umino. Emotions feel stronger, and the characters become more honest about what they want.

Volume 5 is funny, light, and easy to enjoy. Ueno’s strange inventions and her awkward love for Tanaka create many silly and cute moments. The comedy is simple but effective, and the characters remain charming.

Another sweet and gentle manga by Hayane Dento, each chapter was so sweet. I love the relationship between the two main characters.

Have always loved Masume Shirow works ever since GIS (Ghost in the Shell). These are his art books with full color on every page !!!

I think that, like me, whoever is looking for this material is a fan of the work and wants to have something to remember it by. I personally recommend it and have it in my collection.

For those who enjoy artbooks, there are plenty of colorful artworks, in a smaller format similar to the tankobon standard, but of high quality; excellent material for fans of the series.

Volume 20 of the cafe terrace and its goddesses keeps a charming romcom vibe alive with heartfelt moments and growing character dynamics.

Kakkou no Linazuke (A Couple of Cuckoos) manga volume 29 continues the romantic comedy with its signature mix of humor and complicated relationships. The story follows Nagi Umino, who was switched at birth and now faces an arranged marriage with Erika Amano, who initially resists but gradually develops real feelings.

This volume keeps the awkward and raw coming-of-age vibe strong. The mix of cringe and humor really makes it stand out from typical college dramas.

Volume 4 of Ueno Kun wa Kaihatsuzumi stays true to its raw and uncomfortable tone, focusing on the protagonist’s awkward college debut and the messy, often painful exploration of his sexuality. The story captures the intensity of youth with its unique mix of dark humor and cringe-worthy moments, keeping the reader hooked and empathizing with the struggles. A bold and honest continuation of the series.

I am so impressed every time another special edition is released for tbhk, the art is as spectacular as always and the bonus item being a whole advent calendar is so generous! Cannot wait to open it once it hits december. Heavily reccommend to anyone who loves tbhk or manga in general, this has been my favourite series since finding it in 2020. Arrived super quick. Overall incredibly happy with the book and bonus item!

lovely condition, the illustration is a cover like on a hardback but it's paperback. entirely in Japanese so I'll enjoy translating it :)
