Krystian Zimerman’s recording of Rachmaninoff’s piano concertos is well known, and I already own it on vinyl. I bought this CD because I was curious about its green coating, and I’m very pleased with the clean, clear sound. The performances are outstanding, and Zimerman’s beautiful piano tone comes through wonderfully. Overall, an excellent album with great sound quality.
