2011年7月40歳の若さで亡くなったレイ・ハラカミのオリジナル・アルバム/企画盤が廃盤に伴い、再発決定!! レイ・ハラカミの作品の中でも、特にアンビエント・サウンドをメインに置いた1枚。今作は、お台場にある日本科学未来館のプラネタリウム投影機のコンテンツ『暗やみの色』のサウンドトラックとして作られた楽曲。谷川俊太郎の詩を原田郁子 (クラムボン)が、朗読した「yami wa hikari no haha」も収録。アンビエント・サウンド/ニューエイジ作品としても、改めて評価されるべき名盤といえる一枚。
