This product is an acrylic protector to protect the paper label in the center of a record disc from water when the disc is washed in water.

Washing in water with this product is especially effective for heavily soiled vinyl discs.

A replacement rubber packing and rubber sheet are included in case the rubber packing part deteriorates after long-term use. To use this product, sandwich it between both sides of the record disc so that it covers the record label, and tighten it with screws to protect the label of the record disc from water. To prevent water immersion, a rubber packing is attached to the circumference of the protector and a rubber sheet to the area around the screw holes, which prevents damage to the label due to water immersion while firmly securing the protector in place.

アクリル / 直径116mm、厚さ 5.7mm. 本製品はレコード盤を水洗いする際に、レコード盤中心の紙製のラベル部分を水から保護するためのアクリル製のプロテクターです。レコード盤のクリーニングには、クリーニングスプレーやクリーナーブラシを用いた方法がありますが、特に汚れの酷い盤などには本製品を使用した水洗いが効果的です。2019年8月に発売したラベルプロテクター「CLP０１」に対するユーザー様から頂いた要望や改善点などを反映し、持ち手のネジ部分を大きくし、持ちやすく変更したことで、より洗浄しやすい設計となりました。また、ネジ部分の形状を平らにしたことによりLP盤をセットしたまま置くことも可能になりました。さらに、アクリル製のプロテクター部の厚みを可能な限り薄くする事で軽量化を図りました。この変更により、洗浄時の持ち手の負担を減らすと共に洗浄後の乾燥がしやすくなりました。長期の使用でゴム製のパッキン部が劣化した場合の為に、交換用のゴムパッキンとゴムシートが付属します。使用方法はレコードラベルを覆うようにレコード盤の両面から本製品で挟み、ねじで締めることにより、レコード盤のラベルを水から保護します。浸水防止の為に、プロテクター円周部にはゴムパッキン、ねじ穴の周辺部分にゴムシートを装着しており、ラベルの水濡れによる破損を防ぎつつ、プロテクターをしっかり固定できます。
