Only good for less pigmented, hard pressed blush. I have soft pressed, pigmented blush, which doesn't work well with this brush. It's soft and dense, applies blush very precisely, blends well. I plan to get some less pigmented blush and use this brush.

This brush feels like I’m applying blush with a bunny tail! It’s so soft and springy! It’s fully round, which makes this excellent for buffing. It picks up the right amount of product with pressed products and picks up a ton of powder from baked blushes. It's my favorite size (medium to large after washing and air drying) for blush as well.
To me, this is an odd brush for the following reasons: although it is saikoho, its not as soft and silky as my other saikoho brushes (some of them cheaper in fact), the hairs can also feel a bit prickly during application, the goat hairs pick up more color so its best for less pigmented blush - perhaps I just have not mastered the use of this shape of brush and seem to feel more at home with a paddle shape.
T4 has a similar shape and softness as Koyomo blush, but T4 is a bit denser and shorter hair. If you are thinking one of them, consider your skin type. Choose T4 you're dry skin. It doesn't pick too much powder so you won't look "powdery". Vice versa.
I absolutely love this brush, round and fluffy like a cotton ball, although it's not dense as I expect. The hair is also softer than the other Takumi brushes that I have. I often use it for setting powder and blush. Highly recommended!
