今も歌い継がれている国民的卒業、合唱曲「手紙 ～拝啓十五の君へ～」から15年。2014年、ミュージカル音楽を学ぶために渡米し、その後日本での活動を休止していたアンジェラ・アキが2024年、日本での活動を再開! オリジナルアルバムとしてはまさに12年ぶりのリリースとなる今作。今回5月から日本全国で上演される東宝ミュージカル『この世界の片隅に』の音楽制作を担当。その楽曲たちをリアレンジし、自身で歌唱した書き下ろし新曲全10曲のアルバムとなる。
