In addition to the Drama CD version of chapters 2-4 from the first volume of the comic, the CD also includes a mini-drama written by Shinobu Takayama. --The world supported by the four gods, known as the Four Evil Gods, is in a critical situation when two of the four gods escape. The poet-soldiers, who are called "Utagashi," perform a song and dance to trap the fleeing gods in their own beads called "sai" and bring them back home. The poet Ichiyo and his subordinate Tenbeni gave up their search for the gods in Japan and returned to their own country. Accompanied by his friend Rohan, Ichiyo arrives at the site where the trained intermediate deities are working, and gets into a minor dispute with Wuyi, another poet, over a bull demon he is using.
