Andrew W.K. - Gundam Rock

Check out the "Gundam Rock" and you can see a perfect collaboration between Andrew W.K. and Gundam! This is the first time that all songs and instrumental tracks from the first series of "Mobile Suit Gundam" are covered in English, and Andrew W.K. did an excellent job making them sound so natural that you forget that these songs were originally written in Japanese. This official CD was made to commemorate the 30th anniversary of this legendary anime series and the jacket artwork was drawn by Akira Yasuda, the character designer of "Turn A Gundam."

Also check out Andrew's latest cover album "Ippatsu Shobu - Covers," which features lots of Japanese pupular songs such as "Thrill (Tomoyasu Hotei)," "Linda Linda (The Blue Hearts)," "Shimauta (The Boom)," and it is available only in Japan.
