[Added in May] A New Cardboard Buffer
We have added a new cardboard buffer from around June 2024.
If there is space on any side (top, bottom, left, or right), the vinyl can move, causing the sides of the jacket to tear.
The buffer fixes the LP inside the box and prevents tearing on the sides of the jacket caused by shaking during transportation.

We use thicker cardboard and adjust the box size to ensure better protection for your LPs.

2. Get First Press & Limited Edition Items Before/On Release Date
CDJapan can provide you with first press and limited edition items for pre-order,
thanks to our direct contracts with major music labels such as Sony Music, Universal Music, Pony Canyon, King Records, and more.
Moreover, a part of pre-ordered products will reach you before the official release date - a practice known as "Furage" (Flying Get) in Japan.
This means you can get your hands on the items even earlier.
Please note that some items have limited quantities, and they may sell out quickly once they become available for order.

3. Proxy Shopping Service
In addition to our regular inventory, we offer a convenient proxy shopping service for LPs that are either sold out or exclusively available on other websites.
If you are unable to find your desired products on CDJapan, we've got you covered.

4. Customs Duties and Import VAT
Your package will be subject to customs duties and Import VAT/GST.
As a general rule, you will pay these charges when you receive the products,
however some countries and regions allow the seller (CDJapan) to collect the VAT/GST in advance,
and to directly declare and pay them to the respective countries or regions.
If you are required to pay VAT directly to the shipping company upon receipt of the products, the shipping company will charge a customs processing fee of 10-20 EUR (10-20$) along with VAT.
If the payment of VAT is made at the time of purchase, the payment of this customs processing fee is not necessary!
