NIN x NIN Ninja Hattori-kun The Movie

Shingo Katori, one of the members of Japan's top pop group SMAP, stars as Ninja Hattori-kun in the latest live-action adaptation of the hit manga / live-action TV / anime series.

NIN X NIN Ninja Hattori-kun The Movie (English Subtitles) was a hit when it was released in theaters last August because this latest adventure maintains the tongue-in-cheek humor that has made this character so popular for the last 40 years! Hattori-kun becomes the classic "fish out of water" after he decides to travel to Edo in the hope of perfecting his skills. He gets more than he bargained for when he finds himself transported into the strange world of modern day Tokyo.

The Premium Edition includes a bonus DVD, which includes a making-of featurette, a television special, interviews with director Masayuki Suzuki and stars Katori and Reina Tanaka. First press comes in special packaging with photos, and a booklet. Also available is the single of the theme song HATTORI 3 (Sanjo), sung by Shingo Katori, naturally, and penned by popular anime composer Shunsuke Kikushi.

The score for the film is composed by Takayuki Hattori, famous for "Shinsengumi," the NHK TV series which also starred Katori. Hattori also scored Godzilla 2000 Millennium. Speaking of SMAP, their first single in nearly two years, Tomodachi e - Say What You Will, features music by rock god Eric Clapton and lyrics by Mariya Takeuchi. Arranged by Kakeshi Kobayashi, known as a producer of Mr.Children.
