Miyavi - Miyavi Indies Last Live in Nihon Budokan

Miyavi, who released a single last month to mark his major label debut, has a live footage DVD out! Single consists of three types: Regular Edition, Limited Edition Type A, and Limited Edition Type B. The DVD records his last concert, "This is Oudo" held on August 31st this year, on his independent label. Miyavi managed every aspect of it, including sound production and stage conception.

No doubt, this is an artist completely in charge of his trade. The DVD captures his ease with the guitar, the wide range of his music, his quick sense of humor, and a definite gift for arranging cover songs. Not to be missed are Miyavi's dramatic performances that take full advantage of the Budokan setting. His jaw-dropping "flying" act was just one out of many that Budokan hosted for the first time. It's no wonder big name artists like, X-Japan's PATA, or Luna Sea's Shinya, have come to show their support by performing in his concerts.
