Naomi Kawase's "Hanezu" DVD w/ English Subtitles

Naomi Kawase, the director of 2007 Cannes grand prix awarded film "The Mourning Forest," brings her latest film "Hanezu (Hanezu no Tsuki)" with English subtitles.

The story depicts a woman and two men fighting over her like people described in "A Collection of a Myriad Leaves" created over 1200 years ago.

Plot: A woodwork artist Takumi moves to Okuasuka in Nara Prefecture and meets Kayoko, a woman who went to the same school with him. Although the two spend a happy time together, their daily life change after Kayoko gets pregnant. . .
