Ashita no Joe with Tomohisa Yamashita

The live action film based on the legendary boxing manga, "Ashita no Joe (Tomorrow's Joe)" is available to preorder! It will be out on August 19, 2011. Stars Tomohisa Yamashita (NEWS), Yusuke Iseya, and Karina. Directed by Fumihiko Sori of "Ping Pong."

Plot: Set in the 1960's, Joe Yabuki lives in a savage low-income ara. One day, alcholic ex-boxer Danpei Tange notices Joe Yabuki's talents as a boxer and tries to train him to be a professional boxer. However, Joe is later arrested and goes to a youth detention center. But there, Joe meets his future rival, Rikiishi. . .
