The Borrower Arrietty from Studio Ghibli!

"The Borrower Arrietty," Studio Ghibli's latest film is now available for preorder at 10% discount! The animation was directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi, a pure animator who started his career in the popular studio in 1995 and workd on all the masterpiece of Hayao Miyazaki. This one supervised the production as a planner and scriptwriter. For the first time, the music was composed by a non Japanese, the French young harpist Cecile Corbel. A very special attention and hard beautiful work was done for the background, nature and the difference between humans and tiny people.
The release date is June 17, 2011.

DVD edition features English subtitles, and Blu-ray edition features English, French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese subtitles. Both editions come with Arrietty's original clothespin.

Plot: There is a big old house with an uncultivated garden in a suburb. Under the floor of the house, Arrietty, a 14-year-old "tiny people," with her parents are living secretly and quietly. They are living with necessary stuff that are "borrowed" from the people living upstairs without being noticed by them. They cannot be spotted ever by human. Once they are found, they have to move out. That is their rule, but one day, Arrietty happens to be found by a boy living above the floor. . .
