Munetaka Higuchi, Forever. - LOUDNESS

"The Everlasting" is the 22nd album of the legendary metal act LOUDNESS and it is also a memorial album for an amazing drummer Munetaka Higuchi. In this album, Akira Takasaki, of course the guitarist of the band, separated Munetaka's drumming part from previous band's album tracks and rearranged them into the new songs. As a result, we can listen to the astonishing tunes as if Munetaka is on drums for this new album!

Needless to add, rest of the members did a great rendition as usual. As if they were encouraged by the drumming, Minoru Niihara shouted emotionally, Masayoshi Yamashita waved the sound deeply with his bass, and Akira Takasaki's ear-shattering guitar riffs are really heavy.

And on the next month, "Munetaka Higuchi Forever Our Hero - loudness Live At Shibuya CC Lemon Hall -" will be released. This DVD, as the title indicates, contains the footage of memorial concert of Munetaka Higuchi that took place on February 14, 2009 at Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall. Also includes behind the footage of Munetaka and special interview with the band members.

Also check out the SHM-CD cardboard sleeve reissue series from LOUDNESS. All six-album of the series spans the band's early years featuring the albums "Shadows Of War," "Lightning Strikes," "8186 Live," "Hurricane Eyes," "Hurricane Eyes (Japanese Version)," and "Jealousy."
