New Version of Anime Series "Fullmetal Alchemist" Starts!

New TV anime series "Fullmetal Alchemist" based on the hit manga by Hiroshi Arakawa starts to air in April, 2009. This series features different story from previous series originally aired five years ago and some casts are changed. First DVD & Blu-ray is now available to preorder!

Intro theme "again" is sung by YUI, and outro theme "Uso" is sung by SID. Plot: Alchemists are people who practice the art of manipulating and altering matter to transform objects into other forms. Sacrifice goes with the territory since the laws of alchemy states that altering matter comes at a price equivalent to the magnitude of the transformation. While trying to revive his dead mother by alchemy, the main character Edward Elric loses his right arm and left leg, and his younger brother Alphonse virtually dies, though his soul is contained now in a large robotic suit to keep what's left of him alive. The story follows the two embarking on a quest to find the philosopher's stone to restore everything that they've lost.
