SuG - Punkitsch

Japanese oshare kei band SuG return with their new mini-album "Punkitsch." Fans of the band will have plenty to talk about when the "Punkitsch"drops on September 3.

SuG's new EP features five brand-new tracks in the bands heavy positive rock sound. This time around the guitar takes center stage as the focus is on straight-up rock tracks. Things start off with kick-off single "butterfly BoY," a full-on Jrock track that finds the band treading on familiar territory. But step one track deeper and you find the grinding punk masterpiece "Rinne Sentimental Gang." The third track "HYSTERiC HONEY" is a bit of a ballad, followed by two final rockers.
