Kumi Koda - New Single!

Kumi Koda - Moon

This summer Jpop vixen Kumi Koda is ready to get freaky with one of the most amibitious new singles of her career. Titled "Moon," the new single promises to have Kumi bursting through both genres and international boundaries.

Following in the footsteps of "4 hot wave" and "FREAKY," "Moon" includes another selection of four new tracks from Kumi. The single kicks off with "Moon Crying," a moving ballad that appears as the theme to TV show "Puzzle." Second track "That Ain't Cool" features the highly-anticipated collaboration between Kumi Koda and Black Eyed Peas member Fergie--the two having met at Summer Sonic in previous years--for an aggressive and intriguing new sound. Track three "Once Again" is written and composed by Japan's top female reggae artist PUSHIM, and details of the four track are undetermined. In addition, information on Koda's website indicate that the single may also contain instrumental versions of each track (details subject to change).

Kumi Koda's new single "Moon" is available in two varieties. Order the regular edition to get the four-track single, or the limited edition to also receive a bonus DVD with music videos for "Moon Crying" and "That Ain't Cool" (video also features performance from Fergie). If you preorder either version while the "First Press Available" button is displayed on the CDJapan product page, your version of the CD will also contain one additional bonus track.
