Galneryus - New Concert DVD and Single

Galneryus

Japanese power metal act Galneryus step into 2008 with the recent release of a brand new single and concert DVD! Following on the success of their fourth full-length album "One for All - All for One," the new single is coming soon and DVD is out now!

Formed in 2001 by Japanese guitar genius and Animetal member Syu, Galneryus released their debut album "The Flag of Punishment" in 2003 (sporting artwork from Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano). After performing with power metal act Dragonland at the "Melodic Metal Festival" of the same year, Galneryus nicked themselves opener billing for following Dragonland tours and a still-growing international following. What's their secret to success? An orthodox metal sound influenced with elements from both the European metal scene and the early Japanese visual kei movement . . . and of course, tons of intricately played hard rock!

The new DVD, titled "Live for All - Live for One," features footage from the band's November 24, 2007 performance at Shibuya O-East as well as two new music videos and more. The set also includes a bonus DVD with the band's intro theme to the anime series "Mnemosyne - Mnemosyne no Musume Tachi." If you want to get the intro theme without the live DVD, be sure to check out Galneryus' single "Alsatia/Cause Disarray." The new concert DVD came out March 5, with the single due March 19, 2008.
