Muramasa - New album!

Muramasa - Lifull

Japanese third-wave ska/pop band Muramasa returned with their second full-length album "Lifull" on August 29, 2007! If you've never heard Japan's best-kept secret, read on to learn what you've been missing!

The last few years must have been startling for the members of Muramasa. Originally formed as an 8-member ska-pop band in 2001, Muramasa released their indies debut single "Summer of Love" in February, 2005. Despite being their debut, the single ranked number one on the Oricon indie charts and managed to place on the Oricon majors charts as well! After their second single "Hectic!!!!!!" debuted at the top of the charts, this girlie-pop group of eight released their first full-length album "twinkle" which debuted at an outstanding number nine on the Oricon Weekly Album charts! Since then, they've performed on TV, conducted several sold-out tours, and have released a number of new singles.

Now it's time for their sophomore album "Lifull," are you ready? The new album came out August 29, 2007 in two varieties--both featuring 13 tracks including the single "Yume Karin." Order the limited edition to get your hands on a bonus DVD with music video! If you'd like to hear Muramasa before you buy, be sure to also check out their page on Sound TV (Japanese).
