Sucrette Debut Mini-Album

Sucrette Debut Mini-Album

Break out your whispers and sugery pop, it's time for the debut album from neo-Shibuya kei act Sucrette!

Titled "C'est si bon," this six-song debut mini-album betrays the wide array of influences to found in this coed pop duo. First we have vocalist Shiho who borrows heavily from French pop in order to channel a very husky, whispery, Kahimi-Karie-esque sound for the record. Meanwhile, producer Hidetaka Okuda culls in sounds from electro-pop, new wave, guitar pop, samples, Nintendos, and an occasional Moog for a feel-good, laid back spring afternoon album.

If you'd like to try this album before you buy, be sure to check out the samples on Sucrette's official homepage. If you're ready to order, you can purchase the album from the link below.
