Sugar & Spice Fumi Zekka (w/ English Subtitles)

The stylish adlescent movie "Sugar & Spice Fumi Zekkam," based off of the novel "Fumi Zekka" by novelist Amy Yamada is coming soon to DVD! Includes English Subtitles.

The story takes place in Fussa, a small town close to a US military base and influenced a lot by American culture. Shiro has just graduated from high school. He does not see any reason to go to college and starts working at a gas station where he meets Noriko, an elder girl also working as a part timer. Shiro gradually finds himself falling for her.

Yuya Yagira (Cannes Best Actor Award for "Nobody Knows") and Erika Sajiri ("Taiyo no Uta") star in this romantic movie. Well-known actress Mari Natsuki plays the roll of Fujiko, Shiro's fashonable, America-loving grandmother who always gives good advice on love.
