The year, 2007. To combat Japan's nearly 800 trillion yen debt the government hatches a secret plan to send someone to Japan, 1990--the year of the collapse of the Japanese economic bubble.

But when a woman invents a time machine to travel to 1990's Tokyo, she disappears! Mr. Shimokawaji, the Ministry of Finance visits the inventor's daughter Mayumi and ask her to travel back in time to find her mother. Now Mayumi climbs into this time machine made from a drum washing machine and returns to the golden age of the Japanese economic boom!
