The Who - Then and Now
The Who, one of the three largest names ever to grace the history of rock n' roll, are back with their first full-length album in 24 years. Now is a great time to be a Who fan, because there are a ton of new items coming soon to celebrate the band's return.
First, the new album, titled "Endless Wire" is due out November 8, 2006 as an advanced Japanese release. The new album features surviving members Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend with support from Zak Starkey (son of Ringo) and Pino Palladino in the rhythm section. Limited Japanaese edition includes a bonus second disc with live recordings.
In conjunction with the release of "Endless Wire," The Who will also be releasing a massive 19-disc cardboard sleeve retrospective box set and reissuing two Japan-only albums. For the complete rundown on each of the releases, check out our brand new The Who special features page
